Grinner’s is a Truro Nova Scotia based Restaurant Franchising Company. It franchises and Licenses the popular Greco Pizza, Capt. Submarine and FROZU! frozen yogurt concepts. Grinner’s also owns and operates Frank and Gino’s Grill and Pasta House with seating for over 100. Currently operating two Frank & Gino’s corporate restaurants with plans to open another corporate location in late 2020 and start franchising in 2021.
Grinner’s is a member of the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Restaurants Canada, and one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
Grinner’s has over 25 full time employees dedicated to franchising and Licensing their restaurant systems and over 100 staff employed at their company owned restaurants.
Our History
In 1981 Grinner’s purchased the existing Greco franchise with 10 locations. Today Grinner’s has over 100 restaurant units and is proudly the largest pizza franchise in Atlantic Canada.
In 1998 Frank & Gino’s Grill and Pasta House was born in Truro, NS. Today Grinner’s has two corporate Frank & Gino’s locations.
In 2000 Grinner’s purchased the existing Capt. Submarine franchise with 5 locations. Today Grinner’s has over 30 Capt. Submarine locations.
In 2015 FROZU! Frozen Yogurt was created with an initial corporate location. Today we are the larges frozen yogurt franchise in Atlantic Canada.
